Rogue travelers in this world we are, helping others, setting our own happiness aside. The page turns and each day, week, month, or year brings us a new challenge. Each challenge brings us a new happiness. Each new happiness brings us a new heartache when the times to sever the ties arrive almost too abruptly.

Hee-Haw, Ride 'em Coyboy

I don't really have a lot of time, but I heard from our good pal Twisty again just last night. Everything is fine. They toured through Gatlinburg and had a really good time (yea, some details he is giving me for my updates to you guys right! - you guys will just have to get on to him for that!) I heard about this pretty cool 'dinner' thing that the whole family went to. Some cowboy theme party. It sounded really cool. I did not really get where they were, but it still sounded like a really good time. A perfect opportunity to drink, relax, and let loose. They are actually suppose to be having one of these dinner party thingys themselves. The Family is thinking about doing a 'South of the Border' theme. They are going to make a line to "cross over" as their border when you are walking up the walk to the cabin and pass out "green cards" at the door with names on them. I can see Twisty now just sitting there at the door in a sombrero and a colorful poncho smoking his cigarette and drinking a cold beer while singing the words to 'La Cockroach'.

Things here at the homefront are still good. I have to work tomorrow, but I guess that will not be to bad - well, maybe not. The girls are still good. Well, as good as they get. It is so funny that they get all excited when I come home and show me teefies and give me kisses...but they don't really do anything for my new roomie. I told him he just had to sleep with them to get their love (get you minds out of the gutter please - these are cute dogs here! What kinda girl do you take me for?? =P). Well, I hope all is well out there with you bloggers out there. I will update you soon with news from Twisty.
